The Guangxinglong Bridge in Taiping District, Taichung, located near the 921 Earthquake Memorial Park, spans the Toubiankeng River, connecting Taiping Road and Xinglong Road Section 1. Reconstruction began in 2013. It is 232 meters long and 20 meters wide. The bridge's design takes the posture of a bat as its inspiration, symbolizing the arrival of good fortune (蝠, fú, homophone for 福) to Taiping (the district, or peace), and hoping that road users traveling through this section will have a smooth journey and return home safely.
