Bodhisattva Temple, nominated for the 2009 'Taiwan Architecture Award' and awarded the 2011 'Taichung City Urban Space Design Grand Prize,' is one of the most beloved and revisited classic works by Ban Mu Tang Environmental Integration Company, known for advocating 'harmony between humans and nature' and 'seasonal architecture.' The architects designed this green building by combining the rustic simplicity of exposed concrete, the warmth of wood, and the symbiotic elements of tree shade, light and shadow, and flowing water. It is crafted to 'respond to dawn and dusk, to the four seasons, and to the remnants of an entire era,' inviting the five senses to open and the 'heart' to experience its profound meaning.
