Pinglin Forest Park

Pinglin Forest Park, the first large-scale, multi-functional park in Taiping District, Taichung City, which combines ecological flood retention and forest recreation, officially opened on April 21st. The park is located opposite the Taichung Armed Forces General Hospital on Section 2, Zhongshan Road, Taiping District. The entire park covers an area of 11.7 hectares, featuring 3.7 hectares of untouched forest and a 32,000-cubic-meter ecological flood retention pond. The flood retention space has also been utilized to construct a multi-functional art exhibition and performance hall, which enhances the local ecological flood control capabilities and further promotes the overall prosperity and development of the Taiping District.
