Dongshi Forestry Cultural Park

The predecessor of this park was the "Dasyueshan Forestry Corporation", which was the largest sawmill in East Asia during the 1960s. It was the first facility in Taiwan to adopt American-style integrated operations, establishing a model forestry industry for the nation and driving the prosperity of Taichung's mountain communities.
