Taichung Qingshui Service Area Rest Stop on National Highway

The Qingshui Service Area, located on National Highway No. 3, is praised by many visitors as the most beautiful rest stop on the national highway. It provides travelers going north and south not just a place to rest, but also a relaxing experience. The "Qingshui Luminous Pearl" iconic design within the service area serves as a spiritual landmark with the imagery of a lighthouse, extending to the theme concept of "Qingshui Beacon, Taiwan's Soaring Sail," guiding direction. The spacious lobby on the first floor of the service area features a variety of shops, where visitors can purchase many famous souvenirs and gifts. The dining area also has a large aquarium, which is a favorite among children. On the second floor of the service area, there's an excellent viewing platform, coupled with the spatial design by resident vendors, which presents different scenic views from sunset to sunrise. From the viewing platform, during the day, one can overlook the clear and bright Greater Taichung, and at night, it becomes an excellent spot for stargazing, moon appreciation, and admiring the twinkling city lights in the distance.
