Wings of Shalu

The intersection of Taiwan Boulevard Section 7 and Provincial Highway 10 (Sanmin Road) is a necessary thoroughfare from Shalu District to Taichung Port, Central Taiwan International Airport, National Freeway 3, and National Freeway 1. Traffic volume at this intersection is very high during peak hours. Considering the traffic safety of students commuting to and from the nearby Zhulin Elementary School and Shalu Industrial High School, a pedestrian bridge was constructed. It was completed in December 2007, making the commute safer for students from the nearby Zhulin Elementary School and Shalu Industrial High School.
