Zhaojia Kiln was established in 1988, located in Daya District, Taichung City, which is known as the "Hometown of Taiwanese Wheat." Daya District is the only region in Taiwan with large-scale wheat cultivation, boasting the unique scenery of "golden wheat waves with a Northern country charm." The three Zhao brothers, raised in a family of artisans, are dedicated to promoting lifestyle pottery. The eldest brother, Zhao Sheng-Jie, integrates aesthetics of daily life into his ceramic creations. The second brother, Zhao Sheng-Yong, specializes in wheel-throwing and shaping. The youngest brother, Zhao Chong-Yuan, with his delicate and skillful hands, excels at ceramic sculpture. Through their ceramic art, they deeply cultivate and pass on local culture, hoping to promote their knowledge and integrate it into everyday life.
