Dali Old Street

In its early days, the Wuxi River (a tributary of the Dadu River) flowed through Dali, making the Dali Ferry Terminal area the most prosperous place in Taichung during the Qianlong era. Dali Old Street also thrived due to trade and commerce, and Dali became known as 'Taiwan's sixth prosperous town,' holding an important position in the development history of central Taiwan.
