Fengyuan Ciji Temple

Ciji Temple is the temple referred to by Fengyuan's famous Miaodong Night Market. Founded during the Qing Dynasty, it enshrines Mazu, the Heavenly Holy Mother, and serves as an important spiritual center for the local residents of Fengyuan. The architecture features a three-hall, two-courtyard, dragon-style layout and faces north. In front of the temple, there are old banyan trees and a pair of giant bronze lions donated by private enterprises, whose imposing presence greatly enhances its solemnity.
