921 Earthquake Memorial Park

Taiping District, located on the Chelungpu Fault, suffered severe damage from the 921 Earthquake. After reconstruction was completed, the Taiping District Office, in commemoration, planned and built the 921 Earthquake Memorial Park to remind the world of this disaster and the spirit of reconstruction. The park covers an area of 3.5 hectares and is located near Guangxinglong Bridge, offering expansive views. It features a children's play area, a roller skating rink, a large lawn plaza, and more.
