Taichung City Government New City Hall Building

The Taichung City Government New City Hall Building is an administrative building located in Xitun District, situated between Taiwan Boulevard and Wenxin Road. It was designed by the Swiss architectural firm Weber + Hofer AG Architects and is one of the landmark buildings in the 7th Redevelopment Zone. Together with the neighboring Taichung City Council Building, it forms the "Taichung New Civic Center". The building itself is enveloped in a glass curtain wall, with a hollow design forming at the lower central part of the structure. The building's spaces are named Wenxin Building (East Wing), Central Atrium, and Huizhong Building (West Wing) respectively.
