Biting Dog Gully Ecological Scenic Trail

A long time ago, a type of dwarf shrub grew abundantly in this area. Its leaves, with a diameter of about ten to twenty centimeters, caused immediate and incredibly intense itching upon accidental skin contact with their fuzz, feeling like a burn. The discomfort was so severe that it made one unable to sit or stand still. Mild symptoms would subside in two days, while severe cases would take three to four days to heal completely. This plant is commonly known as 'Biting Dog' (咬人狗), which led local residents to name this mountainous area 'Biting Dog Gully' (咬人狗坑).
