Taiping Ancient Farmstead Museum

To allow the public to understand the wisdom of our ancestors and ensure the continuation of Taiwan's gradually fading culture, Mr. Chang Yu-chi, the farm's owner, unconditionally donated the ancient artifacts he had privately collected throughout his life to the Taiping District Office, Taichung City. The quaint and elegant museum, together with the splendid scenery created by the changing colors of the surrounding sweet gum leaves throughout the seasons, offers the public a cultural and artistic hub to reminisce about past folk customs and traditions and evoke a sense of homeland nostalgia.
