Completed in 1993, the Shigang Branch is a four-story building with a total area exceeding 1,671 square meters. Its outdoor reading garden offers beautiful scenery, making it a well-known attraction in Shigang District. With the goal of promoting a leisure and cultural atmosphere, the library emphasizes both reading and entertainment. Today, it has become a local cultural center integrating social education, art, folklore, and leisure. The library's management philosophy has always prioritized public needs, constantly seeking innovation and change to encourage public participation and gain recognition from local residents, and aims for sustainable development through community building. Currently, the library and its surrounding outdoor spaces offer a total of 232 reading seats. Additionally, the library houses a Hakka Cultural Museum and special collections showcasing local valuable historical materials and Hakka cultural and historical books.
