Wuling National Forest Recreation Area

Wuling National Forest Recreation Area spans across Heping District in Taichung City and Datong Township in Yilan County, with elevations ranging from 1,800 to 3,884 meters. The area features pristine forests of fir and hemlock, as well as cherry blossoms, snowscapes, Formosan landlocked salmon, waterfalls, and streams. Hiking along famous trails like Syue Mountain (Snow Mountain) and the Wuling Four Show (Pintian Mountain, Taoshan Mountain, Chiyou Mountain, Kalaye Mountain), visitors are awestruck by the beautiful white cypress forests, cliffs, precipices, old-growth forests, and cirques along the way.
