Lavender Cottage, Taichung Xinshe Store

The access road to Lavender Cottage is not wide, making it feel like a secluded paradise. Barbets, woodpeckers, owls, and fireflies all come to visit, and Formosan Mahseer (Kuhua fish) can be seen in the clear stream. As its name suggests, lavender is naturally the main attraction. Lavender Cottage is currently divided into three areas: Mama Wang's Herb Garden, Grace Garden, and the café. Mama Wang's Herb Garden cultivates over sixty kinds of herbs, supplying the café's needs and used for guided herb tours. Grace Garden is an English-style garden that blends tropical plants with native Taiwanese flora. Surrounding the café are plum blossom trees, cherry trees, tung oil trees, a fir forest, and various birdhouses in the trees. The café offers flavorful meals infused with fresh herbs, herbal teas, handmade desserts, and a variety of herbal products. In the future, a herb-themed guesthouse and extensive lavender fields will be added.
