Lishan Scenic Area

The Lishan Scenic Area is located in the western section of the Central Cross-Island Highway. It connects to Taichung in the west, Yilan in the north, and extends east along the Central Cross-Island Highway to Hualien. To the south, it can reach Wushe and Nantou via Dayuling and Hehuanshan. Its total length from east to west is approximately 89 kilometers, covering an area of about 31,300 hectares. It borders Shei-Pa and Taroko National Parks and comprises three major recreational systems: Guguan, Lishan, and Siyuan Yakou.
