Huangxi Academy

Its predecessor was the Xiyong Society, established by gentry Zhao Shunfang and Yang Zhan'ao during the Jiaqing reign of the Qing dynasty, and was also known as Wenchang Temple. In the 14th year of the Guangxu reign of the Qing dynasty (1888 AD), "Huangxi Academy" was built to recruit students from today's Dadun, Longjing, and Wuri districts and provide enlightenment education.
