Botanical Garden of the National Museum of Natural Science

The Botanical Garden is located behind the National Museum of Natural Science and is administratively managed by the museum. Covering an area of 4.5 hectares, the Botanical Garden collects approximately 750 species of plants, all of which are native to Taiwan. Overall, it is divided into two main sections: the Tropical Rainforest Greenhouse and the Outdoor Low-Altitude Taiwanese Plant Ecosystem Exhibition Area. It also features special exhibition rooms for various themes. With the butterfly sculpture in front of the Tropical Rainforest Greenhouse, overlooking the pond, it provides the best photo spot for newlyweds. Unlike typical urban parks, the Botanical Garden becomes the perfect place for citizens to stroll, chat, and relax after dinner once night falls.
