Tiehchen Mountain is located northeast of Dajia District, Taichung City, with a total area of over 50 jia. The mountain's terrain is flat and cone-shaped, earning its name from its resemblance to an anvil. During the Qing Dynasty period, "Anvil Mountain Sunset Glow" was already listed as one of Taiwan's Twelve Scenic Spots. Most of Tiehchen Mountain is protected forest land. In recent years, famous attractions and beautiful landscapes that have been gradually developed include Sword Well, Martyrs' Shrine, Military Cemetery, the Statue of Prince Koxinga, Zhongzheng Park, and Yung Hsin Le Yuan.
