Daan Coastal Park & Xianghai Nayang Campsite

Daan Coastal Park, located in Daan District, Taichung City, spans 17 hectares. The beach is flat and wide, with fine, soft sand and clear blue waters. At low tide, a vast stretch of sand extending for hundreds of meters is revealed. To offer the public more choices for water recreational activities during the hot summer, the Taichung City Government opened Daan Coastal Park for surfing and kitesurfing activities starting August 1, 2013. This allows people to conveniently experience the joy of surfing and kitesurfing, making it an ideal destination to cool off and escape the summer heat.
