Taichung Distillery

The establishment of the Taichung Distillery can be traced back to the privately operated "Taisho Sake Company Taichung Plant" during the Japanese colonial period. Established in the South District of Taichung City in Taisho 5 (1916), it primarily produced sake and rice wine and was the largest liquor factory in the central region of Taiwan.
