Gaomei Wetland_Gaomei Wildlife Sanctuary

Gaomei Wetland (Gaomei Wildlife Sanctuary) is located on the south side of the mouth of the Dajia River in Qingshui. Covering an area of 701.3 hectares, it boasts rich natural resources and is one of the few collective breeding grounds for wild ducks and geese in Taiwan. Over 120 species of birds have resided in Gaomei Wetland, making it an important ecological conservation area. It has gradually replaced the Dadu River estuary, becoming a new popular birdwatching spot for enthusiasts.
