Taichung Confucius Temple

The Confucius Temple is normally open to visitors free of charge for sightseeing and relaxation. Annually, on September 28th of the Gregorian calendar, the temple hosts the memorial ceremony for the birthday of Confucius, the Great Sage and Foremost Teacher. Furthermore, to support students and examinees, blessing and wish-making events are regularly held before examination seasons, allowing students, examinees, and their parents to pray for successful exams and academic achievement. The temple also co-organizes various cultural and artistic events, and civic groups hold activities such as photography and sketching, enriching its role in cultural and social education.
