Wuqi Tourist Fishing Harbor

Wuqi Tourist Fishing Harbor is located in Qingshui District, Taichung City. After it was opened to free access in 1989, visitor numbers gradually increased. Originally a small fishing village, its development was influenced by the government's construction of Taichung Port and the expropriation of nearby reclaimed land. To balance the development of fisheries with societal needs, the fishing harbor was transformed to focus on production, recreation, and tourism. The Wuqi Tourist Fishing Harbor's area planning includes: a sales area, a direct sales area, a dining area, recreational fishing boats, a recreational park, and other attractions around the harbor.
