Located on the right bank of Dahan Creek, at the foot of Yuanshan Mountain, lies a piece of land meticulously cultivated by urban indigenous people—the Lipahak Sanying Indigenous Ecopark. This high-bank land, adjacent to the Nanjin Tribe, was leased by the Indigenous Peoples Affairs Bureau from the high-bank land management authority. Currently, the park is cultivated by over a dozen indigenous individuals. 'Lipahak' means 'joy from the heart' in the Amis language. The Sanying Indigenous Ecopark, together with the nearby Sanxia Wild Vegetable Garden, forms a distinctive indigenous agricultural park amidst the bustling city.
