Xindian Shishizhang Historic Buildings Park

The Xindian Shishizhang Historic Buildings Park is located at the northwest corner of Shishizhang Historic Park, adjacent to Shishizhang Station, an interchange for the MRT Circular Line and the Ankeng Light Rail. Historically, Xindian Shishizhang was a crucial agricultural production area in the middle reaches of the Xindian River, attracting many families to settle and cultivate the land from the mid-18th century onwards. In response to the construction plan for the MRT Circular Line, the city government relocated numerous traditional houses (gucuo) from various parts of Shishizhang to establish the Shishizhang Historic Buildings Park. This complex is the largest collection of dismantled and reassembled architectural structures in New Taipei City.
