Shuangxi Bat Mountain Trail

Bat Mountain is located on the south bank of the Shuangxi Ferry Terminal. Its name is derived from its mountain shape, which resembles a bat spreading its wings. With an elevation of 252 meters, a bronze statue of Sun Yat-sen stands at its summit, hence the Bat Mountain Trail is also known as the "Yixian Mountain Hiking Trail." The Bat Mountain trailhead is located next to Mingtian Temple in Shuangxi. The trail is an O-shaped loop approximately 1700 meters long. As you walk along the Bat Mountain Trail, you will be accompanied by bamboo groves and azaleas. From the summit, you can enjoy panoramic views of the beautiful mountains and sea of Shuangxi and Gongliao. It is a popular hiking trail in the suburbs of Shuangxi.
