Gleaming golden carriages gracefully traverse between the left bank of the Xindian River and the Ankeng mountain city. Northern Taiwan's second light rail system, the Ankeng Light Rail, has its entire route located in the Ankeng area of Xindian. It features 9 light rail stations, connecting the metropolitan area with a tranquil mountain city. Passengers can transfer to the Circular Line MRT at Shisizhang Station. Through the light rail trains' large panoramic glass windows, along the route, one can enjoy mountain city scenery, the Xindian River Sunshine Bridge, Anxin Bridge, and landmark buildings such as Taipei 101. The New Taipei City Department of Rapid Transit Systems has also integrated the creations of multiple artists, installing cleverly designed public art at each light rail station, allowing passengers to immerse themselves in a diverse artistic atmosphere while waiting for their trains.
