Wenzaidi Wetland Park

Wenzaidi Wetland Park in Xinzhuang District is located in the sub-downtown area of Xinzhuang District. It is the only park in Xinzhuang that combines water-friendly, ecological, recreational, and flood retention functions. "Wenzaidi" got its name because the Zhonggang Drainage Basin used to be a marshland. Thanks to the efforts of the Xinzhuang Community College Wetland Service Team, the ecological restoration of Wenzaidi Wetland is gradually showing full results. They have created a cascading water area within the wetland, mimicking natural stream channels and planting aquatic vegetation. Simultaneously, they also built the nation's first artificial floating island to enhance water purification efficiency and provide a good growth and habitat environment for wild flora and fauna.
