On one serendipitous occasion, he tasted taro grown by an indigenous friend in Hualien. Its excellent texture left a deep impression on him, sparking the idea of making taro cakes. With perseverance and determination, he finally researched the optimal ratio of water molecules and sugar, allowing the cakes to maintain their fresh, original flavor. This is why the signature 'Bursting Taro Paste Roll' has been popular since 1985 and has earned such a good reputation.
