Chenguang Bridge

The Chenguang Bridge is located within New Taipei Metropolitan Park in Sanchong District. It is a new scenic bridge that was inaugurated at the end of 2018. The Chenguang Bridge connects the left and right banks of the Erchong Floodway. Its design concept is inspired by the legendary reunion story of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl. It features a double-layered, double-curved bridge pier overlay structure that creates a viewing platform. The winding Chenguang Bridge resembles the Milky Way, symbolizing the path of the Cowherd and Weaver Girl's reunion. In addition to the unique design of the bridge deck, romantic constellation light displays can be seen when it lights up at night!
