Banqiao Broadcast Station

The full name of Banqiao Broadcast Station is Taipei Broadcasting Bureau Banqiao Broadcast Station. Located near the Xinban Special District, it was one of the five major broadcasting facilities across Taiwan during the Japanese era. The New Taipei City Department of Cultural Affairs designated this site as a municipal historic monument and carried out restoration work. The outdoor park area opened in June 2019, and the main historic structure's restoration was completed in 2022. Banqiao Broadcast Station covers an area of over a thousand ping, and after greening and landscaping efforts, it now provides a large recreational green space for the densely populated Banqiao area.
