Visitor Essentials
The Sandiaoling Waterfall Trail is located upstream of the Keelung River. The trail has a total length of 2.71 kilometers. Along the way, visitors can admire the Sandiaoling waterfall group, which is collectively known as the "Three-Tiered Waterfall" and consists of the first-tier "Hegu Waterfall", the second-tier "Motian Waterfall", and the third-tier "Pipa Cave Waterfall". These are the most important landscape features along the trail. After exiting Sandiaoling Station (TRA), follow the small path next to the railway to the former site of Shuoren Elementary School. The trailhead is located right at the school gate. Embark on the Sandiaoling Trail to explore the waterfall group hidden in the forest.
