Visitor Essentials

Ling Jiou Mountain Wu Sheng Monastery is located in the northeast corner of Taiwan, adjacent to Fulong Beach. It is surrounded by the sea on three sides, offering distant views of the Pacific Ocean where the sky and sea merge into a vast, boundless horizon. The mountain boasts a rich and diverse ecosystem, with mountain breezes, sea views, and accompanying mists that fully showcase its natural beauty. Entering the mountain from the Ashoka Pillar, visitors will find the uniquely designed Heavenly Eye Gate, the Four Sacred Mountain Dharma Centers symbolizing the compassion, wisdom, and vows of Bodhisattvas, the Eleven-faced Guanyin, and the Black-faced Golden-bodied Tara Guanyin statue overlooking the sea. There is also a Stupa Forest that strongly embodies the integration of the three vehicles of Buddhism, as well as the Five Hundred Arhats Trail hidden within the mountain forests. Here, one can enjoy the leisure of strolling through the mountains and forests, practicing walking meditation at a gentle pace.
