Located in Sanzhi District, New Taipei City, cherry trees have been progressively planted along the roadsides since 1996. More than 16,000 cherry trees have been planted within the Sanzhi area. Among them, the Cherry Blossom Path, stretching 70 kilometers along Qingshan Road, is a popular cherry blossom viewing spot in Sanzhi. As spring arrives with its fluctuating temperatures, the various cherry blossoms planted along the way, including Formosan cherry (Hikanzakura), Yaezakura, and Yoshino cherry, successively burst into full bloom, with their staggered blooming periods lasting up to two months.
