Little Red Cliff

The valley on the west bank of the Xindian River is characterized by numerous towering boulders. The incessant erosion by the river water has exposed continuous stretches of steep, majestic cliffs. Because of its resemblance to the Red Cliff on mainland China's Yangtze River, and as literati have compared it to the Red Cliff featured in Su Shi's 'Ode to the Red Cliff,' local residents refer to it as Little Red Cliff.
