Bao'ai Art Street

Bao'ai Street, located in Yonghe District, New Taipei City, was initiated years ago by several retired teachers who hoped to foster community development, forming the "New Taipei City Yonghe Art Education Development Association." Their goal was to integrate art into daily life and bring it to the neighborhood. This transformation has imbued the only 500-meter-long Bao'ai Art Street with an increasingly rich cultural atmosphere. It's an art street that has evolved through a special street-making project, embodying the belief that the best urban art shouldn't just remain at the museum level; it should ideally bring art to the streets, or allow the streets themselves to become art.
