Wulai is a famous mountainous township in northern Taiwan, located in a water source protection area. The majority of its residents are Atayal aboriginal people. At the confluence of the Nanshi River and Tonghou River, tall peaks rise on both sides and the river meanders through, creating a magnificent landscape. It is well-known for its hot springs, old-style railway (Tai-Che), waterfalls, and Yunxian Paradise.
