Wulai Scenic Area

In early spring, throughout the Wulai Scenic Area, from Huanshan Road all the way to Wulai Waterfall, and from behind the Yunxian Cable Car Station to Waterfall Park, mountain cherry blossoms burst into bloom on their branches, creating a breathtaking sight. Every year after the Lunar New Year, visitors flock to the mountains to enjoy cherry blossoms and hot springs. The sight of cherry blossoms in full bloom can be captured along Huanshan Road, Waterfall Park, Xilu'an Road, and Provincial Highway 107. The first to bloom are the dark pink (scarlet) cherry blossoms, followed by the white-to-pink Yoshino cherries, and then the romantic light purple Yaezakura (double-flowered cherry blossoms) successively bloom, creating a magnificent spectacle.
