Ruifang Scenic Area

Ruifang District is located north of New Taipei City and is a coastal scenic area. In the early days, mining was Ruifang's most important industry, including the gold mines of Jiufen and Jinguashi, and the coal mines of Houtong. Subsequently, as mineral resources were depleted, the communities began to decline. However, after movies and commercials started filming at these locations, the traditional charm of these communities, the tranquility of the mountains and forests, and the beautiful sea views once again attracted thousands of tourists, bringing back a lively and bustling atmosphere to the area.
