Visitor Essentials

Yunsen Waterfall, located in the Xiongkong area of Sanxia District, New Taipei City, is situated in the upper reaches of Zhongkeng Stream. It is a collective name for two waterfalls: Yunxin and Senshan. Some also refer to Yunxin, Senshan, and the Sisters Waterfall collectively as the "Yunsen Three Waterfalls." The trail along the way is mostly a gentle, contouring mountain path, flanked by lush, verdant forests. Along the way, you'll also cross clear streams, wooden bridges over valleys, and aluminum ladders. Passing through these can be thrilling but not dangerous, adding a lot of wilderness charm. Soon after crossing the stream, you can see the Yunxin Waterfall, which is about ten meters high and resembles a double-layered curtain. Large green maples grow nearby, and from late December to early January each year, there's a chance to admire the beautiful scenery of layered red maples complementing the graceful waterfall. To the left, there is a steeper mountain path leading to the cliff top of Yunxin Waterfall and the slender Senshan Waterfall. However, the view and space there are limited, making it difficult to approach.
