Tamkang University Maritime Museum

The Tamkang University Maritime Museum is located within the Tamkang University campus. It is a five-story, ship-shaped building with a floor area of 2,134 square meters. The Maritime Museum displays various types of ship models from ancient and modern times, both Chinese and foreign. There are nearly sixty ship models from various countries, ranging from the Age of Discovery in the 15th to 17th centuries, all the way to future superconductor electromagnetic propulsion vessels. All ship models in the museum are scaled down according to the original ship's structure and are handcrafted.
