Shimen Wind Power Station (Windmill Park)

The Taipower Shimen Wind Power Station is Taiwan's first commercially operated wind power generation facility. Its overall design emphasizes visual proportion and aesthetic appeal, aiming for harmonious integration with the local environment and landscape. To support local tourism development, various high and low voltage cable conduits have been buried underground. Additionally, pedestrian walkways, observation decks, parking lots, restrooms, real-time operational information boards, and lighting have been constructed or installed to enhance the scenic resources.
