Huaxin Street (Myanmar Street)

Located near Nanshichiao MRT Station in Zhonghe District, New Taipei City, Huaxin Street is Taiwan's most diverse food street for Southeast Asian cuisine, also commonly known as Myanmar Street. This area is home to many descendants of troops who retreated from Yunnan to Myanmar and Thailand, as well as Burmese Chinese who immigrated to Taiwan for economic reasons. Consequently, the culinary techniques of Yunnan and Myanmar have been passed down here, resulting in particularly authentic flavors.
