Magang Intertidal Zone

The Magang Intertidal Zone, located in front of Magang Fishing Port in Gongliao District, New Taipei City, is approximately a hundred meters long and wide. It is the area on Taiwan's coast with the most abundant growth of green algae. The surface of the abrasion platform is quite flat, and the terrain is characterized by an abrasion platform. There are also many small tidal pools and tidal channels, making it suitable for exploring the intertidal zone ecosystem up close on foot.
