Taiping Temple

Taiping Temple is situated in the Anhang Community on the west bank of Bitan. It is conveniently located near Taiping Sports Park and the Air Force Memorial Cemetery. To find it, turn left after crossing Bitan Bridge and follow Taiping Road for about 50 meters. The temple, built in a traditional Southern Fujianese architectural style, enshrines its principal deity, the 'Sage King of Kaizhang'. Established in the 12th year of the Jiaqing reign during the Qing Dynasty, the temple boasts a history of over 200 years.
