Zidong Community (Pingxi District Farmers' Association Dongshi Ecological Education Center)

Zidong Community is located in Dongshi Village, Pingxi District, characterized by its tea plantations, typical of Northern Taiwan's rural landscapes. Situated in a valley, it has limited arable land but boasts rich and diverse ecological resources due to its abundant forest cover and ample water supply. Additionally, the well-preserved ancient stone houses are an important feature of the community. Within the community, visitors can find the culturally and historically significant "Qianzhenkeng Ancient Trail," the "Dongshi Ecological Education Center" which offers local cuisine and environmental education, and "Chen Family Mountain Dwelling" and "Dengshan Rongzhuang" for farm product handicraft experiences. Here, people can explore ancient trails, visit local farmhouses, and immerse themselves in nature.
