Jing'an Suspension Bridge

The Jing'an Suspension Bridge, located in Shifen District, New Taipei City, is colorful and dazzling. Situated between Shifen Village and Nanshan Village, and adjacent to Shifen Station and Shifen Old Street, it serves as an important connecting bridge and the most prominent landmark in the Shifenliao area. The Jing'an Suspension Bridge has a long history; its original purpose was to transport coal. After coal mining ceased, it was converted into a pedestrian-only thoroughfare. The Jing'an Suspension Bridge has faithfully served this purpose ever since.
