Pingxi Old Street

Pingxi Old Street boasts a rustic charm. Along the sloping hills and on both sides of the railway, you can see traditional old houses built in sequence. It is also the famous scene where the protagonists of the blockbuster Taiwanese movie 'You Are the Apple of My Eye' released sky lanterns and made wishes. Most of the nearby shops are traditional general stores, hardware stores, and snack bars, reflecting the simple daily lives of the local residents.
